24, October, 2018. The Academy of the State Penitentiary Service arranged a round table on preventing risky behavior among children. The Academy regularly initiates and supports prevention initiatives. Currently Academy cadets are taking part in the project, “Informal School Leader”.
23, October, 2018. Session, “Self-esteem” was conducted in Chernihiv Gymnasium #31 within the project, “Informal School Leader”. Supported by the USA Embassy in Ukraine.
22, October, 2018: Chernihiv Region Youth Center. Team of the project, “Informal School Leader” conducted a meeting on analysing results of the first project phase. Partners from the Academy of the State Penitentiary Service took part in the meeting.
Larysa Ren’ is a docent of the Social Work Department of the National University “Chernihiv Collegium”. Currently she is also the expert of the Project, “Informal School Leader”. As a methodist Dr. Ren’ helps the trainers to conduct the prevention program.
The trainer Katherine Bilohur and psychologist Oleh Halepa have been conducting the prevention program, “Choice: Youth Empowerment” at the Club for of social and prevention work with children. Coaches Olga Los and Larysa Ren are conducting a prophylactic program “Choice: youth empowerment” in school #18 of Chernihiv city. Informal leaders from a micro region of Chernihiv “Podusivka” are taking part in this program.
