02 September 2020: City of Chernihiv
On behalf of the City Mayor, Vladyslav Atroshenko, the senior lecturer of the National University “Chernihiv Kolegium” Lina Makhotkina was awarded with the Certificate of Gratitude for her efforts in prevention risky behavior among children.
Lina is a devoted member of the Prevention Center, “Choice”. Together with her colleagues from the Chair of Social Work she has been investing her energy, knowledge and commitment in meeting the challenges of drug abuse, HIV/AIDS and crime among students of Chernihiv schools.
At this stage they are implementing the project, “Effective Prevention ” that is supported by the USA Embassy in Ukraine. Specifically the Chair of Social Work have prepared manual for trainers, handbook for eighth-graders participating in the prevention program, “Choice-8”, and voiced over the online course for trainers.
