Trainers Lilia, a Juvenile Prevention Officer, and Svitlana, the School #5 Psychologist, conducted the session, “HIV/AIDS: Challenge and Response”, in two eighth grade classes. The students were talking about specifics of HIV spread and ways to prevent it. As well they discussed attitude to people living with HIV. Tolerance to such people and respect of human rights are crucial elements for meeting the challenge of HIV.
The project, “Effective Prevention” is supported by the USA Embassy in Ukraine.
